Sue Dewey

Sue is our Centre Co-ordinator, Trainer, and Assessor.

Sue is a very experienced Manager, having spent several years developing and leading teams in the private sector. Always focused on developing people, Sue moved into training and assessment 10 years ago.

As well as training in the private sector, Sue has also been involved with the voluntary and community sector. Passionate about client, employee, and volunteer engagement, Sue leads on our Management and Education programmes.

Cathey Maximin-Brown

Cathey joined the Citizens Advice seven years ago and has covered various roles. After undertaking the Award in Education qualification herself, she worked at helping others gain their NVQs.

Cathey has used her wealth of experience in the FMCG sector to deliver the supporting Access to Legal Advice and Customer Service qualifications. Very often students are nervous about returning to learning but, with a lot of encouragement, Cathey enjoys seeing them progress towards the completion of their NVQ qualification.

Cathey is not only concerned with providing accurate information to assist clients who are able to solve their own problems, but also gains a lot of satisfaction from dealing with more involved issues.

She has spent the last few years assisting with the Liphook Outreach facility, which has seen an increase in the numbers attending, something that has been a much-needed service in the area. This has been noted by Hampshire CC, who will use Liphook as a model for other Outreach centres in the area.

Sue Craft

Sue Craft is one of our Assessment Centre team, with many years of experience in training and developing staff and volunteers within Citizens Advice locally. She has an engaging & encouraging approach to supporting trainees, which enables learners with a wide variety of experiences to develop their work with clients in the voluntary sector.

Carol Clark

Carol has many years experience of management, specialising in sales management and the delivery of excellent customer experience. Developing people has always been a passion for Carol and moving into training and assessing has enabled her to bring these two elements together to help people and organisations be the best they can be.

Carol works closely with Sue on our Management and Leadership programmes

Gill Ormond

Gill is our Lead Trainer and Assessor for our Advice programme and delivers on our Education programme.
Gill has many years experience working in the Advice sector for Citizens Advice and delivering high quality training to managers, customer service staff, leaders and team trainers. She has designed and delivered training for various roles and is always client centred in her approach to delivery.

Karen Murrell

Karen Murrell is a qualified nurse teacher with over 30 years experience of teaching in health and social care across the clinical and university sectors. Still employed two days a week as a University lecturer based in Reading, Karen also delivers safeguarding to level 2 and 3, conflict resolution and first aid training.

Liz Moore

Working and breathing training and developing people is a huge passion of mine. I am the Head of Learning Services at Skills to Grow and together with the excellent team, we are here to develop and deliver new skills to your staff and individuals. I have a teaching, training and HR background so you are in experienced hands talking to me.

Rachel Dowbakin

I have been with Skills to Grow since the very beginning, watching it turn from an idea to a fully operating business has been an interesting and exciting journey. As training coordinator for Skills to Grow my role is to look at the need, advertise the courses, liaise between your needs as customers to the teaching team – making the courses happen. You get to know me more if you are looking at getting a quote for a bespoke course, or enquiring about new dates for courses or wanting to find out if a course is for you.

Tori Perry

I make up one half the Training Administration Team (along side Caroline Newman). I really enjoy working on this team and have now been doing this varied and interesting role for around 2 years. I do everything from: getting out and about setting up our training courses, to processing the paperwork, to answering the phones. The chances are, if you give the Training team number a call you will get through to me – so I look forward to hearing from you.
