Testimonials

Through Skills to Grow I realised that I already had the skills and knowledge to do my job successfully, I just needed the confidence. Skills to Grow helped me achieve this and gave me a recognisable qualification to go along with it.

Award in Education & Training

This isn’t just theory I’m learning. The new skills and knowledge I am acquiring as part of my Award, are being put directly into practise in my daily work environment. I
expected to find the course productive over time but I have been surprised how immediately relevant the content has proven to be.

Award in Education

As a new manager I completed the Level 3 in Management. This course is based on learning something in the tutored sessions and then evidencing how you implement it in your workplace. I have found that this has given me the structure, skills and tools to move from worker to manager and gain confidence in my abilities as a manager.

The tutored sessions are informative and offer practical ideas and tools. You also have a personal assessor who acts as your main contact whilst completing the qualification. The staff who delivered the tutored sessions and the assessor I have found to be totally supportive, willing to help, incredibly
friendly and ensure you stay on track to complete the qualification

This course was much more involved than I’d anticipated but with the help, support and guidance from the very skilled trainer I really enjoyed the work, which actually transpired to be far easier to evidence than I’d realised. I feel the course has helped me grow as a manager and I feel far more confident in my role now. Thank you

L3 Certificate in Management

It was a big decision for me to sign up to The Level 3 Award in Education and Training, as it had been a long time since I had studied for a qualification.

I found the initial friendly and reassuring approach from the trainer was just what I needed to reassure me. That set the scene for the whole course, which was well spaced out and
designed to suit the needs of the learners. The trainer was consistently approachable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her.

Every aspect of the course was explained in detail. The other learners were good fun and all came from different backgrounds, so it was interesting to hear about other people’s experiences and we were encouraged to learn from them too.

The course was fun, it had good resources and I found I could use many aspects of it in other areas of my work as well as in teaching or training. It was hard work, you must be prepared to put in the extra hours to complete work at home, but gaining the qualification has been a real boost to my  confidence and it was well worth the effort.
